A bstract We study $$ \mathrm{T}\overline{\mathrm{T}} T ¯ deformations of chiral bosons using the formalism due to Sen. For arbitrary numbers left- and right-chiral bosons, we find that -deformed Lagrangian can be computed in closed form, giving rise a novel non-local action Sen’s formalism. establish at limit infinite coupling, equations motion deformed theory exhibits decoupling. then turn discussion fermions, point out stress tensor free fermion coincides with undeformed seed theory. explain this behaviour by noting deformation term is purely topological nature closely resembles fermionic Wess-Zumino Green-Schwarz In turn, observation also explains puzzle literature, viz. why multiple fermions truncate linear order. conclude discussing possibility an interplay between bosonisation.
